Paro Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Our guide and driver will pick from the airport.
Visit Paro National Museum. It was established in 1968. National Museum has in its possession over 3,000 works of Bhutanese art, covering more than 1,500 years of Bhutan's cultural heritage.
Visit Paro Dzong. It was built in 1646.
Visit Drukgyel Dzong: It was built in 1649. It was completely destroyed by fire in early 1950s. It was rebuilt and reinstated to its former glory in 2016.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang. It was originally built in 7th century and Padmasambhava visited in 8th century.
Day 2
Enroute Chelela pass (3810 m) and feel fresh cool air as you ascend the elevation.
Visit Lhakhang Karpo & Nagpo: Both Lhakhangs were originally been established in the 7th century. Receive traditional pre-expedition blessing in preparation for next day’s expedition through Trans Bhutan Trail at Lhakhang Karpo and Nagpo.
Day 3
Walking Distance: 17 Km.
Expected completion time: 8 hours.
Elevation: 1169 Metre.
Difficulty: Hard and medium.
The trail follows the Haa river following through Katsho valley and gradually passing numerous yak pastures before you head into pine and rhododendron forests.
As you continue to climb you reach the Kaylela pass where it crosses the ridge trail between Chelela and Sagala. On the way, we can view Mount Jomolhari (7314 m) Mount Jichudrakegang (6794M), and Mount Tserimgang (6,789 m).
Day 4
Depart from Paro Airport.
